From creative arts to flag & noodle football, we believe there are many ways to explore new opportunities for youth to grow. At Catalyst Camps, each day is an opportunity for creativity, independence, social skill development, making friends, and developing leadership skills in a fun atmosphere.
Curriculum-based skill building activities change weekly in topic or ongoing projects are designed for campers to engage with hands-on and full sensory experience with materials, concepts, and collaborate with peers while working together and independently.
Camper initiated and camper-led activities provide opportunities for youth to take ownership of their schedules and hone their interests. Our staff support campers in exercising voice and choice, to create their own activity plan and develop leadership skills.
Camp Activities
Our daily schedule includes times for campers to come together with their assigned crew and times where campers select their own activities during Free Flow. During Free Flow, campers will have opportunities to choose from the activities at our camp areas. Activities change daily, giving our camp leaders the opportunity to create new and exciting things based on camper interests.
Exciting Community Partnerships
Along with our other camp activities, we are excited to share that we will have weekly classes from Spotted Dog Yoga & Mad Science!
Spotted Dog Yoga (Folsom) will be offering kids yoga class on Tuesdays at camp!
Mad Science will be hosting hands-on science workshops on Wednesdays at camp!
